Program Notes
Commissioned by the Granite Ridge Intermediate School Band, this piece depicts a graduation and procession of musicians ready to take on the next level of music. As the pieces progresses, so does the maturity of the music. Musical elements such as chordal structure and tempo changes become slightly more advanced.
