Program Notes

Vision Of Majesty is written for mature bands. More demanding than most of his previous pieces, it is a bold and dynamic opus which explores the full resources of the symphonic band.

A Vision of Majesty was commissioned by and is dedicated to NEC Fuchu Concert Band, Akira Toda, conductor. The premiere performance took place on May 31, 1997 in Tokyo, Japan.
