Program Notes

Two different settings of It Came Upon the Midnight Clear are expertly paired in this arrangement by Clarence Barber. The flexible scoring is playable by as few as five winds and percussion. A wonderful opportunity for your audience to hear both a familiar and lesser known setting of the famous carol in a single musical work.
