Program Notes
The creative techniques, which are not difficult or extreme, are very effective in conveying the air of mystery and fantasy that surround this intriguing work. Using tuned crystal glasses and instrumental effects as an introduction, we can begin to visualize the composer's vision: "As darkness descends upon the thick woods, a fantastic dance unfolds before our eyes."
