Program Notes
This is a highly energetic piece that the band and audience will certainly enjoy. It opens with a mysterious feeling, introducing some of the melodic content, before moving into the fast (and triumphant!) tempo.

The work begins quietly with a brief introduction marked “Slowly,” and this leads directly to the much quicker and contrasting main section that is marked “Furiously.”
