Program Notes

Tracing Ligeti is Edward Cumming's transcription of the first movement of David Macbride's four-movement orchestral work Tracings. That first movement is named After Ligeti, inspired by a piano work entitled Musica Ricercata by György Ligeti (1923-2006), Hungarian-Austrian composer of contemporary classical music.
