Tiptoe Forest was inspired by walks in the woods, critters discovered underneath overturned rocks, and the endless possibilities of what lurks in the shadows and sparkles in the trees.

Flexible instrumentation pieces are of course an opportunity to play around! That said, for assignments closest to a standard band piece, the following are suggestions based on orchestration/balance and range/ability. Parts with an asterisk (*) would pose a rewarding challenge for more advanced-beginner players.
