This original composition for wind ensemble or symphonic band is in three movements:

1..Carousel – suggests the festive, tongue-in-cheek abandon of an amusement park
2..Charade – the quiet contemplation of a sad clown
3..Callithump – a boisterous parade or street celebration

The movements are linked together by a triangle solo.
