Program Notes
Three Miniatures is a three-movement work and each movement is in a different key (B-flat, F and E-flat major). Students will have the opportunity to work in these different keys and play a variety of styles of articulation. The first movement is in a fanfare style, the second movement is lyrical, and the final movement is a march.

Performance Notes
While this piece can be played with a flexible instrumentation, you can also use the piece as chamber music. All theee movements will work for a brass quintet or a woodwind ensemble. I provided a 2nd trombone part that covers part 5 if a tuba player is not available.
