Program Notes

Released in 1993, this monumental Oscar-winning film from director Steven Spielberg ranks as one of the most highly regarded movies of all time. The touching and poignant theme remains Mr. Spielberg's favorite of all of John Williams' famous themes. This edition for band is an authentic transcription in the original key and features the violin solo as performed by Itzhak Perlman for the movie's soundtrack.
