Program Notes

Teutonic Tales was inspired by the legend and lore of Germanic and Norse mythology. Written for Mike Roylance, principal tubist in the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the original suite features three movements titled Demon Dance, Freya and Thor’s Hammer. The piece was premiered in October of 2009.
