Program Notes
Tag - You’re It! is a playful 3 minute delight for the players and the audience alike. Graded at IV, the piece challenges students with scale passages, dynamic contrasts, subtle and satisfying harmonic and rhythmic shadings, ensemble balance as well as independent line movement, and a give-and-take scenario just like the child’s game “Tag!”
