Program Notes

A playful opening theme leads to a nostalgic interlude and then a noble sounding march in turn leads into the triumphant conclusion in which all of the themes return.

A Symphonic Narrative was commissioned by the Venice High School Band, Venice, Florida, Arthur D. "Skip" Williams, director.
