Program Notes

Summit is an energetic grade 3 work that was commissioned by the Indiana Bandmasters Association. The composition depicts a group of individuals working together as a team to forge its way up the face of a mountain, dealing with steep cliffs and chillings winds, eventually working its way to the very top.

Thank you to Rick Granlund and IBA for making this work possible.
