Biography
Steven Paxton is an American composer, arranger and educator living in New Mexico.
Paxton has served as director of the Los Alamos Choral Society in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and chair of the Contemporary Music Program at the College of Santa Fe. Prior to that he taught music theory, composition, and electronic music, and directed the New Music Ensemble in the School of Music at Texas Tech University.
Steven Paxton is the editor and founder of Creative Spirit Music Publications, a privately owned music publishing business incorporated in the state of Texas.
