Biography

Stephen (Steve) Reisteter (b. 30 November 1957, Bethlehem, Penn.) is an American composer and educator.

Currently, Mr. Reisteter serves as principal clarinetist with the Allentown (Pennsylvania) Band and the Allentown Symphony and is a former member of the Charleston (West Virginia) Symphony. As a pop musician, he has performed with Ella Fitzgerald, Bob Hope, and many others. As a composer, his music has been performed by numerous symphony orchestras and bands.

Reisteter retired at the end of 2017 as an elementary school vocal and instrumental music teacher in the Whitehall-Coplay (Pennsylvania) school district.
