Spencer Wiles
Biography
Spencer Wiles (b. 8 April 1999, Rochester, N.H.) is an American percussionist, composer and music educator.
Mr. Wiles began composing by teaching himself the Legend of Zelda theme on piano early in life. His first composition was Rising Sun, for 15 percussionists, in 2017. He completed a bachelor's degree in music composition from the University of New Hampshire in 2021. He is currently [2023] employed by the Timberlane Regional School District (Plaistow, N.H.) as their percussion instructor.
Wiles writes music that tells stories, and believes that band music is the best way in which to bring modern audiences along for his creative adventures.
