Program Notes

Ever have trouble identifying which Sousa march you're hearing? Paul Murtha complicates it even more by “rearranging” several of Sousa's march fragments into a clever novelty. This work is a mash-up of several well-known Sousa marches, including The Black Horse Troop, El Capitan, Semper Fidelis, Stars And Stripes Forever, The Thunderer, Washington Post March, and The Liberty Bell.
