Program Notes

Silverfyllda Drömmar (Silver Filled Dreams) was written for the Artists United fundraising event on May 8, 2017. The benefit was a tribute to my father who passed away a week before the event. My family is Swedish, so it seemed right to title this tribute to my father in Swedish.

The title comes from our last name, Silverberg, and dreams because dad will live on in our memories. It has a mesmerizing opening and a very powerful middle section. The piece is a telling of my father's life and how much he is loved and will be missed.
