Program Notes

Seven Moons is the first work of a tetralogy, named Seven, where both four works, are composed with seven different movements. The name of the four works is based, in a abstract way, in the point of view of the different thematic materials. This materials are based on an imaginary folklore, that is intersected with the abstract points of view, and gives rise to the themes that run through the four works.

This work received its premiere performance in 2015 by the Banda da Sociedade Filarmónica Humanitária de Palmela (Portugal), conducted by João Paulo Quítalo.
