Program Notes

I heard that Brain Co., Ltd. wanted a work that can be played with any composition, and I created it in 2011. Of course, it is difficult to cover all musical instruments, but I intend to use the knitting table [sic] as a basic one and make it possible to freely mix and match. Since the population of brass band is declining these days, and I hear that there are many groups that do not keep the existing ensemble formation, I think that such a score is necessary as a teaching material.

For the style, I tried to create it in a classical style with reference to Renaissance dances. Therefore, I would like the performers to share their ideas and decide their playing style without writing articulations at all. Also, since each scene is a complete piece, it is possible to select and play any song. We would appreciate it if you could use it as an ensemble teaching material.
