Program Notes

Saugeen Shores Overture was inspired by Summer Music's Mission statement, and my summertime visit to this picturesque arts-focused community. The composition is essentially in fast-slow-fast form, featuring the development of a pervasive, syncopated principle theme, supplemented by two subordinate themes. First performed and commissioned by Summer Music to celebrate its 30th anniversary
