Program Notes
In the days and weeks leading up to the big day, the elves are working overtime in the workshop in preparation for that very important sleigh ride that only comes once a year. But it can’t be all work and no play! Using Victor Herbert's Toyland as a base, Santa’s Workshop Samba portrays the hustle and bustle taking place as the final packages are wrapped, marked, and loaded in Santa’s sleigh for their journey around the globe. Because the elves are a little mischievous, keep an ear out for several other holiday melodies woven throughout.
