Program Notes
Based on original melodies, this flowing piece is a musical portrait of a day spent on a sailboat. A stately opening reflects the grandeur of the vessel leaving the marina, followed by moving eighth-note lines and rhythms depicting the motion of the waves. A full, lush ending gently fades as the music returns to the opening theme and the boat returns home.
