Roger Fletcher

Biography

Roger Fletcher (b. October 1970) is an American composer, arranger, and performer.

Mr. Fletcher received his BME in music education in 1974 from Drake University, and an MA in secondary education and gifted education from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. He also attended the Film Scoring Certificate Program through UCLA from 2006 to 2012.

He served in the United States Air Force Academy Band as trumpeter, composer, arranger and vocalist from 1979 to 1992.

From 1992 to 2015, Mr. Fletcher was a secondary school band director, most recently at the Viewpoint School, Cabalasas, Calif. from 2005 to 2015.

Formerly a member of PhunkYard- instrumental Jazz/Funk fusion band (LA), Mr. Fletcher was also a member of Balance- Funk and Club band (Azusa, CA), Stay Tuned- wedding and dance band (Twin Cities), Summit- dance band (Colorado Springs), the Des Moines Big Band, and more.
