Program Notes

The Rockford Files, starring James Garner as a Malibu-based private detective, aired on NBC from 1974 to 1980. Its theme song, released as a single, reached number ten on the Billboard Hot 100, stayed on the chart for 16 weeks, and won a Grammy award in 1975.
