Program Notes
An introspective and poignant work, reflections explores the full palette of colors and textures of the symphonic band. The piece was inspired by the poetry of Courtney D. Ware.
reflections was commissioned by current and former members of the Georgia State University Graduate Wind Conducting Studio and Symphonic Wind Ensemble for Dr. Robert J. Ambrose in celebration of 20 years as director of bands at Georgia State University.
