Biography

Ralph B. Eisenberg (1873, Johnstown, Penn. – 19 February 1943, Linton, Ind.) was an American composer and arranger.

Eisenberg worked as an arranger and composer for several publishing houses. During the 1920s, he was with the Karl King Music House and then Rubank of Chicago, residing in Palatine, Illinois. Some say his frequent changes in employment could have resulted from his reported weakness for alcohol, and that the 13-year association with Fred Jewell at Worthington, Indiana, (1930-1943) might be attributed to Jewell's patience.
