Program Notes

Here's a lively, masterful adaptation of a classic march for young bands. Harold Bennett is a pen name used by the famous march composer Henry Fillmore, and this brisk and cheerful arrangement shows why he is so highly regarded.

- Program Note from publisher

Project is another great easy march by Harold Bennett (pseudonym of Henry Fillmore). This march was part of the very popular Bennet Band Book No. 1 that was first published in 1923. Hundreds of thousands and maybe even millions of band musicians learned how to play the march form from this famous collection of easy marches. Over the past four years, I have endeavored to breathe new life into these exceptional marches.
