Pius Cheung

Biography

Pius Cheung (b. 1982, Hong Kong, China) is a Chinese-Canadian composer, arranger, educator and percussionist.

Dr. Cheung began teaching in the music performance percussion program at the University of Oregon in 2011. He received his Bachelor of Music dgeree from the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, his artist diploma from The Boston Conservatory, and his Doctorate from the University of Michigan.

Currently [2021], he is the associate professor and chair of the percussion area at the University of Oregon.
