Program Notes
Pastorale is a movement from the Concerto for French Horn and Orchestra composed in 1958 and recorded by Supraphon, making it available to the international community. Czech-American composer-arranger Joel Blahnik became aware of this exceptional work early in his instrumental education study at Lawrence Conservatory of Music and arranged the movement, with the composer's permission, for French horn and woodwind choir.
