Program Notes

Pas des Cymbales began as a piano duet. According to the Library of Congress, its orchestrated version became the 4th movement of the suite from the ballet Callirhoë (W50). It is in the style of a paso doble. This transcription used the orchestrated version as a reference, not the original piano duet.
