Program Notes

This happy-go-lucky, traditionally styled march is dedicated by the composer "To All My Kids in the KU Concert Band." This band, which is comprised mainly of freshmen and sophomores, has long been defined as the "second band" in the University of Kansas Band program, but the esprit de corps of the KU Concert Band is unrivalled; hence the name Nulli Secundus, which in Latin means "second to none".
