Noah Gorman
Biography
Noah M. Gorman (b. 7 July 2000, Las Vegas, Nev.) is an American percussionist, composer and educator.
Gorman studied music education at Eastern Michigan University under Dr. Mary Schneider and John Dorsey, with mentorship from Dr. Whitney Prince and Jason Ihnat. He has experience performing with groups such as the Eastern Michigan Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Red Wings Drumline, Evergreen A Cappella, and Zenith Brass,
Mr. Gorman has written numerous works for wind ensemble, percussion ensemble, and jazz ensemble.
He has taught extra curricular music at several middle schools and high schools throughout Michigan and currently [2023] serves as the choir director at Ypsilanti Community High School.
