Biography
Nils Gerhardts (b. 1970, Vechta, Germany) is a German composer and percussionist.
Gerhardts studied at the Osnabrück Conservatory, majoring in percussion and composition/ear training. He now teaches drums, piano and music theory at the KMS Vechta and the Dümmersee Music Academy.
Gerhardts is also active as a musician in various bands/ensembles, preferably rock music. In addition, he mainly composes pedagogical but also concert literature.
He is also a member of the north-west German drum quartet AKZENTE.
