Biography
Nicholas (Nick) Roubanis (1880, Nauplie, Greece – 1968, Athens, Greece) was a Greek-American music teacher.
In 1941 he released a jazz instrumental recording of Misirlou, crediting himself as composer. Although that attribution is widely doubted, the composition credit continues to reside with Roubanis.
