Program Notes

As the piece progresses, groups of instruments leave the stage a la Farewell Symphony.

- Program Note from publisher

It is unclear whether the composer intended the title (in German) to be Musicians' Strike with Comic Tat-Too as a subtitle, or vice versa. The 1907 edition is called Comic Tat-Too, while the 1961 edition is called Musicians Strike.
