Music of Appreciation was premiered by Alan L. Bonner and the U.S. Air Force Band at the CBDNA/NBA convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, on January 24, 1992. In this tribute to military personnel, "The imagery includes reflections on family and friends from whom they must be separated in times of crisis, challenges faced during their tours of duty, and triumphs achieved on behalf of their country."
