Program Notes

From the very beginning, the stately and celebratory character of this march is clearly stated. The introduction of the main theme takes place in a medium register, setting a noble and majestic tone. This is followed by a lyrical trio melody, providing an effective contrast before closing in a festive mood of celebration. A great choice when selecting a march.
