Michael Bigelow

Biography

Michael Bigelow is an American composer.

Mr. Bigelow currently holds a bachelor's in music education from Pacific Lutheran University and has experience teaching band, orchestra, choir, and general music at all levels from K-12.

Mr. Bigelow has over twenty years of composing experience and has written works for a variety of instrumental and choral ensembles in the Puget Sound area. Primarily focused on writing for the concert band setting, his pieces have been performed by middle, junior, and high schools as well as a number of community groups throughout the region.

In addition to writing for traditional ensembles, Mr. Bigelow also has experience arranging instrumental accompaniment for both solo bagpipes and pipe bands.
