Program Notes

Just try to count all the different Christmas melodies in this one. John Cacavas has put together a tremendous arrangement of all of favorite carols in A Merry Brassy Christmas. Although it emphasizes the brass, A Merry Brassy Christmas also includes solos for flute and baritone. This challenging and fun work ties together a cornucopia of carols by utilizing clever bridges and modulations.
