Entering, or rather ‘processing to a polonaise’, supported by the most vivid music in the masque Crown of India (including cymbals, timpani, bass drum, side drum, tambourine, tom-tom and ‘Indian’ drum), the Mogul Emperors remain mute as Delhi makes her case.
