Biography

Manfred Menke (b. 9 June 1961, Dinklage, Lower Saxony, Germany) is a German composer and percussionist.

At the age of 17, Menke started playing the drums and learned other percussion instruments shortly after. He later studied music at the Städtischen Konservatorium Osnabrück with Peter Klemke.

Since 1986, he has been a lecturer of drums, mallets, percussion, jazz combo, and improvisation at Universität Vechta.
