Program Notes

Opening with a lovely flute solo passage, lush harmonies and strong percussion lines guarantee a successful concert! Driving passages in tutti band alternate with a warm, majestic melodic section which builds to an exciting finale.

Majestia was commissioned by and is dedicated to the Parker Junior High School Symphonic Band, Parker, Colorado, Mike Stroman, director.
