Program Notes

Brothers James and John Hosay unite to bring you a musical portrait of Louisa County, Virginia. Intertwining rhythms energize the lovely melodies and rich harmonies that describe this beautiful land, where rolling hills, farms, and small towns stand in view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A trumpet solo peacefully unveils an idyllic panorama in the comely moderato portion of the piece, which gradually builds and summons the rhythmic and uplifting conclusion.
