Program Notes
La Rosita, first published in 1923, was used to accompany the silent film Rosita starring Mary Pickford. The record label and sheet music credit the composition to Paul Dupont, which was a pseudonym for Gustave Haenschen, the recording director of Brunswick Records between 1920 and 1927. It was Haenschen who was leader of the Carl Fenton Orchestra for Brunswick.
