Program Notes

Commissioned by the Flat Rock Middle School Symphonic Band (Tyrone, Ga.) Deborah L. Bajer, Director, and the Rafer Johnson Junior High School Band (Kingsburg, CA), Kimbi Sigle, Director, February 2010.

The title means "energy of love and life" and is the perfect salute to the friendship of the two directors who commissioned it. Wonderful leaders in our field who are accomplished band directors and role models, they bring energy and life to the world of music education, and this is mean to celebrate their friendship and dedication to their art.
