Joe Wolfe

Biography

Joe Wolfe is an Australian composer and physics professor.

Joe Wolfe started writing music in the seventies and has since written sporadically for jazz and fusion groups, including incidental music for plays and films. He has written several orchestral works, including the overture Circle of Fourths and a Trumpet Concerto.

Wolfe works mainly as a physicist, studying the acoustics of musical instruments and the voice. He also has expertise in cellular biophysics and thermal ecology.
