Jesús Orielso Santiago Jácome

Biography

Jesús Orielso Santiago Jácome (b. 1968, Gonzalez Cesar, Colombia) is a Colombian composer and conductor.

Santiago began his musical studies in the Instituto de Bellas Artes of Ocaña, Colombia. After graduation he conducted and arranged in the area before applying to the Universidad Industrial de Santander, where he graduated with an honors degree in music. He also specialized in symphonic orchestras at the Institution Universario Juan N. Corpas in Bogotá.

His compositions and arrangements have won numerous awards since 2001.

Currently, Mr. Santiago works as an arranger, conductor of the Banda Sinfónica Chía, and as pedagogical and musical assessor to band in the city of Cundinamarca.
