Program Notes

John Williams' music from the film Jaws is chilling and quite bombastic. It is based on a theme consisting of only two notes. This theme is gradually adopted by the entire orchestra. The restless and panicky theme is then melodramatically expanded to a creepy ending that depicts an attack by the great white shark.
